Levens villagers affected by recent power outage

Around 70 houses in Levens had a power outage on Friday 31 May - lasting from midday for about 15 hours. If this affected residents they can submit an outage claim on the Electricity North West website (enwl.co.uk) - it only takes about 5 minutes - and they send you £75. This is a government scheme that should help focus ENWL to invest in Levens infrastructure - they made £100 million profit last year - yet the power failed as the lines have not been maintained!
